Saheed Akinmayowa LAWAL, PhD, is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Health, Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria. He is a Sociologist trained in Global Health. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Sociology from University of Ibadan. He has a PhD in Global Health from Trinity College Dublin (University of Dublin), Ireland. Dr Lawal was the recipient of the Fogarty Global Health (Post-doc) Fellowship by the Fogarty International Center for 2018-2019 supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. As a Fogarty Global Health Fellow, he was based in Department of Global Health and Population, Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health, Boston, Massachusetts, USA from 2018-2020. Dr Lawal’s areas of research includes community mental health, health policy, administration and management, public health and primary care, women and child health, health systems, and bioethics.
