He obtained BSc and MSc degrees in Zoology from the Universities of Port Harcourt and Lagos respectively, and this laid the foundation for a foray into natural healthcare. He has taken professional courses in various aspects of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) including Nutrition and Nutritional Supplementation, Electro-acupuncture, Iridology, Quantum Resonance Diagnosis and Alternative Medicine itself. During his 20 years of CAM consulting and as an award-winning marketer of products beneficial to the health and wellness of individuals, families and communities, he also designed and conducted series of training programs on Detoxification, Acupuncture and use of proprietary electro-acupuncture and acu-massage devices in healthcare delivery and on Nutritional Supplementation

Dr. Igbani is a member of the Association of Integrative Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria (AIMP) and Modern Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria (MTMPAN). He is the Founder of Partnership for Holistic Healthcare, a platform for collaborating with other CAM practitioners in Nigeria. In 2006, he started publishing the newsletter, Health News You Can Use. For 18 years, he was a health and wellness lecturer with the Tiens Group of China, and in 2008, he authored the handbook, Your Life in Your Hands with TiensLife (How a Breakthrough Technology Can Empower You to Detect, Treat & Protect Yourself from Diseases Though Handscan). In 2012, he was privileged to serve as National Coordinator in the Office of the Director for Health & Longevity in a non-governmental organization—Fellowship of Partners for the Protection of Ethics & Values (FOPPEV)—which collaborated with the then Office of the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Ethics & Values. In 2019, Dr. Igbani was certified as a Health Coach at Dr. Jack’s Wellness Centre, where he currently serves as a Consultant and Faculty Member.

In pursuance of the goal to remain versatile in health and wellness practice, he recently obtained a Diploma in Fitness Training and Performance Management from Hallmark University, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is also a Certified Digital Marketer by IIDE the Digital School, India. Since 2004, he has been the CEO of GrowthPoint Networks Ltd and is currently the Assistant General Coordinator of African Network of Professionals (ANoP), Canada.
